‘Polpettini al Limone’ are yummy lemon-scented meatballs deliciously flavored with garlic, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley and red chili flakes. Courtesy of Mario Batali from his long-running series Molto Mario, this Tuscan-style veal meatballs are traditionally served over a quick sauté of fresh peas. I improvised with the side dish and added in some zucchini and red onion in addition to the simple sauté of peas. A lovely Italian entrée that is only made more delicious with an accompanying plate of potato gnocchi or herbed orzo.
