Prosciutto-Wrapped Plum Wedges with Mint

That first juicy bite of a perfectly ripe, red-fleshed plum simply bursts in your mouth with flavor.   My Prosciutto-Wrapped Plum Wedges with Mint showcases the wonder that is a fresh plum, but does so in a uniquely Italian way.  I love the sweet and salty combination here; thinly sliced prosciutto wrapped around a sweet plum wedge, all-the-while a sprig of fresh mint is tucked underneath the prosciutto for an added burst of sweetness.  A no-cook appetizer perfect for the warmer months ahead.

Prosciutto-Wrapped Plum Wedges with Mint

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe plums, cut into wedges
  • Thinly sliced prosciutto
  • Fresh mint leaves

Directions:

  1. Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each plum wedge; tuck a small mint leave underneath the prosciutto and serve room temperature.
