This healthy broccoli side dish gets its flavor from three things: tangy lemon zest, buttery walnuts and rich walnut oil. Before tossing the broccoli florets and sliced stems together with these ingredients, I think the best way to cook them is to steam them in a pot of lemon-scented boiling water until slightly tender.

Broccoli with Lemon & Walnuts
Ingredients:
- 1 large head of broccoli, florets separated and stem thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, zested then cut in half
- Walnut oil
- Salt and pepper
- ½ cup walnut pieces
Directions:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Squeeze in the juice of 1 lemon and then add in the broccoli florets and stems. Cook for 3 minutes; drain and place in a large mixing bowl.
- Toss the steamed broccoli together with the lemon zest, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and big grinding of black pepper. Also toss in the walnuts and drizzle with 1 Tablespoon of walnut oil. Serve warm.
