Hello deliciousness! This Provencal sandwich (hailing from Gwyneth Paltrow’s newest publication, It’s All Easy) is out-of-this-world. Based on the traditional Salad Nicoise, this recipe starts with the freshest and best baguette you can find. Layered with all of the full-bodied flavors of the classic tuna salad, you start with a spread of Dijon mustard, then comes the oil-marinated tuna, fresh greens, basil, Nicoise olives, sun-dried tomatoes, capers, anchovies and sliced red onions. And what’s a Nicoise-anything without slices of hard-boiled egg? Each bite of this decadent French sandwich is absolutely fabulous. All you need to accompany it in my opinion are some crispy, roasted haricots verts and a crisp glass of Rosé.
