A savory tart like this one is a wonderful dinner idea for the warm weather months. When produce is at its peak, a savory tart (similar to a quiche but with less eggs) can be filled with whatever veggies or cheese you have on hand. This specific recipe is from Eating Well magazine and is filled with Swiss chard, garlic, ricotta and feta cheese and black olives. (I decided to add in some hard salami as well for added flavor, but pancetta or turkey bacon would work wonders, too…) Bake in a pre-made pie crust like I did, or grab a decorative tart pan from your pantry and make whatever tart shape you like best!
