Creamy Polenta with Gorgonzola & Almonds
Ingredients:
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- Salt & Pepper
- Crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- Roasted, salted almonds, chopped
- Fresh chives, snipped
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, heat the whole milk to a simmer over medium-high heat. Add in the cornmeal, season with ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, and whisk constantly over medium heat approximately 5 minutes, or until the polenta is thick and creamy.
- To serve, place the cooked polenta in a serving bowl and sprinkle with the cheese, the almonds and the snipped chives.
