My Creamed Swiss Chard is an elegant way to prepare one of my favorite greens. Tender Swiss chard sautéed with minced garlic, flavored with dry white wine, and made super special with a dash of cream. For a bit of added texture, this side dish is then finished off with a sprinkling of crunchy Panko breadcrumbs. A gourmet side dish that works well with just about any of your favorite dinner menus.

Creamed Swiss Chard

- Salt & Pepper
- Splash of dry white wine
- 3 Tablespoons half-and-half
- Panko breadcrumbs, for garnish
Directions:
- In a large, straight-sided sauté pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add in the garlic cloves and Swiss chard and sauté for 3 minutes, or until the greens are wilted. Season with ¼ teaspoon salt and a grinding of black pepper, then add in the white wine.
- Reduce the heat to low and cook for approximately 3 more minutes. Add in the half-and-half and cook for another minute, or until the cream is heated through.
- To serve sprinkle the Panko over the creamed greens.
