I have been holding onto this Cajun dessert recipe for quite some time and once I tasted it, I wondered why in the heck I had waited so long to make it! A simple yet extremely decadent custard tart that starts with a crust very similar to a sugar cookie dough. Filled with a milky custard and baked until set, this rich tart is reminiscent to rice pudding, without the rice. A classic Cajun custard tart that is great no matter what the season.
