If you are a fan of a warm bacon vinaigrette on a spinach salad, well this is its ‘pasta cousin’! I hearty saute of sliced mushrooms, bacon and garlic top al dente spaghetti that is flavored with balsamic vinegar, fresh basil and grated cheese. I recommend using whole wheat spaghetti in this dish for its nutty flavor–it works wonderfully with the warm and tasty vinaigrette.
