In the checkout line the other day at the grocery store, my eyes quickly spotted a new food magazine. Aptly named Sift, this is a quarterly magazine put out by King Arthur Flour company; not only bread recipes fill these lovely, well designed pages but recipes for anything and everything that might go with bread as well. A fantastic collection of recipes that I can’t wait to make!
These fabulous ‘Honey-Whole Wheat Biscuits’ were first on the list. A unique biscuit recipe that uses both whole wheat flour and bread flour along with buttermilk for textures and a bit of honey for a slight sweetness. I served them first at dinner with a bowl of soup, and the next morning for breakfast with an assortment of jams, and a little extra honey for dipping.
