Cassis Whipped Cream over Blackberries

 Ce dessert est très Français. Simple yet stunning. Rich yet not too heavy.  Pillowy whipped cream flavored with black currant liqueur and a touch of sugar; topped with fresh, plump blackberries– a perfect flavor accompaniment to the sweet liqueur.

Cassis Whipped Cream over Blackberries

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 Tablespoons crème de cassis
  • 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Fresh blackberries

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the cream, crème de cassis and sugar together with a whisk (or hand-held mixer) until soft peaks are formed. Divide amongst 2 dessert bowls and top with fresh berries.
