Yet another French delicacy from the recipe collection of Laura Calder: the lovely and witty television host of French Food at Home which airs on the Cooking Channel.  I love the simplicity and emphasis on quality ingredients that all of her French recipes exude—and believe me, this one is no exception!  Seared rounds of chicken sausage skewered alongside fried sage leaves and cubes of sweet, caramelized apples.  The flavor combination of chicken, sage and apple is not to be forgotten; a simple but lovely presentation of delicious ingredients, paired with a dash of that French je ne sais quoi that we all know and love.
