A dinner party client of mine recently shared a jar of her homemade pickled grapes with me. Yummy yummy yummy. Although divine on their own with a multi-grain cracker and a cube of salty Pecorino cheese (and a glass of white wine), I was excited to see this recipe from Bon Appetit magazine. The recipe itself explains to you how to pickle your own red grapes, but I cut out that step and used my client’s grapes instead. Simply toss the tasty grapes into a fresh salad of bitter red radicchio leaves, crumbled goat cheese and crunchy almonds. A lovely monochromatic salad that is filled with crunch and tons of briny flavor!
