If I had to choose a favorite flavor of dessert, it would have to be lemon.  Anything lemony will do—pies, cakes, ice cream you name it, I love it–I’m not picky.  This simple lemon dessert made of sweet whipped cream folded into a rich lemon curd is irresistible.  Tart, sweet and creamy all in one bite.  A dreamy taste and an elegant presentation, this overall taste simple dessert is elevated with the addition of crunchy graham cracker pieces and a touch of sea salt.

Wish I had some right now as ice cream is a favorite of ours. My mother made the most delicious homemade raspberry sherbet but it calls for beaten egg whites that aren’t cooked.
I made the tomato soup with my homegrown ones and we really liked it–served it chilled due to our hot weather.

Totally agreed–I’ve never tasted an ice cream flavor I didn’t love! This lemon dessert was superb…basically just lemon curd folded into whipped cream. Simple sometimes is best!

Glad the soup turned out well– and chilled, sounds lovely right now in this 93 degree heat. 😉
