What a scrumptious treat for the Holidays! This classic cocktail conjures up images from cocktail parties of the 1950’s; a rich concoction of brandy, dark crème de cacao, and heavy cream. Spruced up even more in my version with the addition of a pecan-coated rim on the glass. Similar in taste to an Irish cream, one sip of my Brandy Alexander will have you very, very merry!

Brandy Alexander
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ oz. brandy
- 1 oz. dark crème de cacao
- 1 oz. heavy cream
- For the rim of the glass (optional):
- Finely chopped pecans
- Water
Directions:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add in the brandy, crème de cacao and the heavy cream. Shake to combine. To make the pecan rim for the glass, have one shallow bowl filled with water and another filled with finely chopped pecans. Place the rim of the glass in the water first, then swirl it around in the finely chopped pecans until the entire rim is coated. Strain the cocktail into the glass and enjoy!
