Sometimes I feel like a broken record, but again, can we get a round of applause for Martha Stewart and her creative team at MSLO? There are a number of things I would personally like to thank Ms. Stewart for in a heartfelt, handwritten thank you note: her undeniable class, her dedication to teaching others, her creative inspiration, and oh yes, the recipe for Peanut-Toffee Chip Cookies. These dense, chewy cookies will seriously have you singing the cookie monster song in your head the minute their delectable flavor hits your taste buds. A buttery cookie studded with salty peanuts and crisp, oh-so-sweet toffee chips will make your mouth water. I just made a batch and I guarantee you, they will only last in our home-of-two for at max, 3 days. Cookies are a great way to celebrate a special occasion, greet your new neighbors, or even cheer someone up—but they are also just as good as a treat on a regular weekday afternoon.
