Happy New Year!

I always like to serve a chilled glass of champagne not just on New Year’s Eve, but with our New Year’s Day dinner as well. This year I have included some southern classics in our New Year’s Day dinner menu, that of course include black-eyed peas for luck and greens to represent wealth in the New Year.  But whatever it is that you choose to serve, make sure to make it special and make it a wee bit decadent.

This year, we are having:

Roasted Almonds with Black Truffle Sea Salt

Cherry Wood-Smoked Pork Ribs with Cranberry Barbecue Sauce

Hoppin’ John

Boozy-Braised Collard Greens with Sweet Potatoes
