A lightly sweetened iced coffee is a treat that I crave on those scorching summer afternoons. This version, based on a drink from Vienna, is updated to a delectable dessert with the addition of iced cream and a dash of cocoa powder. Similar to an Italian Affogato except chilled, you can use your favorite vanilla ice cream or a rich coffee-flavored ice cream like I did, for an extra dash of that cravable coffee flavor.

Hi Anna,
Long time listener, first time caller. I bet this would go nicely with some coffee infused vodka as well 😉
Well a big ‘hello’ to our first time caller. What a lovely idea! I spy a bottle of chilled espresso vodka in our freezer as I type…I think it’s meant to be! 😉
