New Year’s Day Dinner

With checklists of resolutions running through our minds, today is the day to start fresh.   A brand new year of experiences and tastes awaits us!  To celebrate this New Year we are treating ourselves to a dinner menu filled with tasty Southern delicacies:

 

Spicy Pimento Cheese with Celery Sticks

  Jambalaya-Stuffed Pork Loin

Black-eyed Peas

Bacon-Smothered Cabbage

    Sounds wonderful and may inspire me to make some pimento cheese for a snack.
    My sister in law told me she uses roasted red peppers in hers and not pimento so I have started this also. We liked pimentos too. Happy New Year!!

      Happy New Year to you as well! I love pimento cheese and am loving the roasted red pepper idea—do you roast your own peppers or use the jarred version? I bet both would work well.
