There are a few cookbook authors whose upcoming cookbooks I always pre-order. One of these authors is Ina Garten, the Food Network’s Barefoot Contessa. I adore her cookbooks in general for their simple yet elegant recipes and gorgeous layout. The high level of excitement and anticipation for her newest book, Cooking for Jeffrey, was well worth the wait!
Famous for her Friday night roast chicken she makes for her husband Jeffrey, I decided to try her new spin on that old recipe first. A perfectly cooked, juicy chicken that is cooked along with beautiful radishes right in the pan. The radishes absorb some of the chicken’s juice as they cook, and they become a bit caramelized from the hot oven as well. A gorgeous and superb recipe that you should try very soon—maybe this Friday night!
