How can anyone resist a buttery, flaky phyllo crust filled with a sweet mixture of tart Granny Smith apples, dried apricots, and ground cinnamon?  This lovely ‘Apple Strudel’ recipe is simple to make and is made even more delectable with a scoop of your favorite vanilla ice cream or sweetened dollop of whipped cream.  A perfect dessert for these cold weather months, or even a special breakfast time treat when served with a cup of dark coffee.

You’ll love it Mrs. Jan! I still have the apple strudel recipe you gave me last year as well– the more the merrier, right? Leftovers were superb for breakfast…
      Happy holidays!
